The Fourth Circuit’s Criminal Appellate Practice Seminar, scheduled for Monday, October 28, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., at the Omni Richmond Hotel, 100 S. 12th Street, Richmond, VA, is fully subscribed, and registration for the Seminar has been closed to the bar. The program features a bench and bar panel on effective briefing and argument, presentations on briefing writing and oral advocacy, an appellate ethics session, Supreme Court and Fourth Circuit case updates, and tips on appellate procedure, resources, case budgeting, and eVoucher.
This Seminar is offered to bar members free-of-charge. CLE credit approval is being requested for North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia.
