In-person oral arguments during the October 25-28, 2022, Richmond argument session will be conducted in accordance with the updated Powell Courthouse Entry and Oral Argument Protocol.
The court no longer requires filing of a certification of compliance form or proof of vaccination or negative testing. Attendance limits are no longer imposed, and advance permission is not required to attend argument.
The court continues to require masking in all public areas, including courtrooms. Attorneys may, at their option, remove their masks during presentation of oral argument.
An audio live-stream will be available for all oral arguments from Listen links provided on each page of the oral argument calendar. The oral argument calendar will be updated at 8:00 a.m. each day with the identity of the oral argument panels.
